President's Campus Leadership Award

 

The President's Campus Leadership Award is a new award offered by Maine Campus Compact and will be presented on an annual basis!

 

Each member president may select one student organization or campus department (academic or not) to
receive this new annual award. Recognition is for contributions to community service, service learning,
and/or civic engagement efforts on their campus. These organizations or departments demonstrate

 

1) Use of service as an integral part of the college experience for students;

 

2) Innovative approach to enhancing campus-based efforts to address community issues and needs;

 

3) Efforts to sustain their work by developing strategies to integrate into the institution’s structure;

 

4) A deep, widespread impact on the campus, and

 

5) A deep widespread impact on the community.
