This two day institute is designed for college students who are motivated to help communities in their efforts to become more sustainable. The institute will prepare students to take a seat at the table wherever citizens gather to prioritize, plan and implement sustainability measures in their communities.

…launch Green House Gas inventories and weatherization programs
…identify potential opportunities for solar, wind, biomass and geothermal technology
New England Regional Campus Compact Conference: April 13-14 in Burlington, VT
The 2010 New England Regional Campus Compact Conference will bring together faculty, staff, administrators, students and community members from New England and beyond to engage in discussions, presentations, workshops and intensive institutes to explore the ability and capacity of higher education to address our institutions’ and society’s most pressing issues.

New Paradigms for Faculty Rewards: An Action Planning Workshop to Support Engaged Scholarship
May 27 & 28, 2009, University of New Hampshire
This workshop will provide campus teams of faculty, administrators and staff with opportunities to:
- Engage in workshops and facilitated dialogues about challenges for civically engaged faculty in current faculty rewards processes on our campuses
- Exchange promising practices from our institutions and networks
- Analyze current faculty rewards policies, leadership, and practices using tailored tools, and
- Build forward from these practices to context-specific implementation scenarios
